Getting to Rio Rancho, NM

The city of Rio Rancho, NM, is Northwest of Albuquerque, NM, and Southwest of Bernalillo, NM. The primary access to Rio Rancho is via NM 528, which runs North-South through the city.

From the North of Bernalillo, NM

Take I-25 South toward Albuquerque, NM.
Exit at the Rio Rancho/Placitas exit (mile 242). Turn right (West) at the end of the off ramp--this is NM 44.
At the intersection with NM 528, turn left (South) toward Rio Rancho.
Drive South along NM 528 until you come to Northern Blvd. (a rather inconspicuously marked intersection). Turn right (West) onto Northern Blvd., and follow directions to the launch site.
Alternately, continue along NM 528. After passing through much of Rio Rancho, you will come to the intersection with Southern Blvd. Turn right (West) on Southern Blvd., and follow directions to the launch site.

From the South of Albuquerque, NM

Take I-25 North through Albuquerque, to the Paseo Del Norte exit. Turn left (West) onto Paseo del Norte.
Proceed West to Coors Rd. Turn right (North) onto Coors Rd.
Follow along Coors Rd. (which will become Coors By-Pass, and then NM 528, just keep following it) on up the hill and past Intel (the megalithic structure on the right). A few lights past Intel you will be at the intersection of Southern Blvd and NM 528. Turn left (West) onto Southern Blvd., and follow directions to the launch site.
Alternately, continue along NM 528. After passing through much of Rio Rancho, you will come to the intersection with Northern Blvd. Turn left (West) on Northern Blvd., and follow directions to the launch site.
